Eight months have quickly passed since the the Earthquake, but the town is still in the process of slow recovery. Despite these circumstances, thanks to the generous support of the local community, the festival committee, and those involved with Hakusan Shrine, we were able to hold the Autumn Festival at Sakataru Shrine on September 8th, 2024. We sincerely appreciate your support.
Due to a brief rain shower, the procession of the Sakataru portable shrine turned back at Ushitsu Oshiki office, but together with the Hakusan portable shrine, we were able to parade through the town, receiving the divine blessings of the great deity.
We continue to pray for everyone’s safety and the region’s recovery.
